New sailing manoeuvres, intensive training, in-depth background knowledge - we consolidate the basic knowledge and practise the manoeuvres for the Bfa-Binnen.

Course description

This course is the next step in a young person's sailing career. You will deepen your basic knowledge and learn further manoeuvres. According to our motto "learning by sailing", the focus of the training in this course is also on practice. The theoretical knowledge is expanded in the areas of boating, law and much more.

Requirements

Swimming skills
very good basic sailing knowledge (setting sails, reefing and recovering, casting off, tacking and mooring)
Minimum age 10 years

Aim of the course

Practical sailing skills:
Sailing given courses, tacking, jibing, buoy overboard, shooting up, mooring and casting off, correct sail position and trim, handling the boat, nautical knots,..

Theoretical knowledge:
Boating skills, evasion rules, safety, ropes and knots,..

Scope and price

5-day course

the course lasts from Monday to Friday and ends on Friday at 2 pm with the exam

What to bring

There is no such thing as bad weather - only the wrong clothes!
What you should bring:

Comfortable and sporty clothing,
Spare clothes,
Shoes that can get wet (old trainers, sneakers,...),
Rainwear (if available),
Sun protection.

Price

BFA- Binnen Junior Course - € 325,-

The course fee includes materials (boats) and life jackets.

Additional costs - optional:
Exam fee: € 15,-
Issue fee (since 8 October 2012): € 15,- (we will apply to the ÖSV to issue the licence for you)
Script: € 25,-
Goggle strap: € 7,- (if necessary)
